Al Babcock, also known professionally as AB3, is a Kingston, Ontario–based stand-up comedian, producer, and podcast host who has been active in the Canadian comedy scene since 2016. He made his debut at Absolute Comedy Kingston and quickly built a reputation for his high-energy delivery, quick crowd work, and candid storytelling style that blends personal experiences with sharp observational humour. Over the years, Babcock has performed across Ontario, headlined local showcases, and produced independent comedy events aimed at growing the Kingston stand-up community. He has appeared in regional media features and has been involved in large-scale local shows, including performances connected to major Kingston venues. In addition to live stand-up, he hosts the podcast Purple Monkey Dishwasher, a Simpsons-themed series where he and guests break down favourite episodes and cultural moments from the long-running TV show. Active on social media under the handle AB3Comedy, Babcock continues to tour, produce shows, and expand his presence within Canada’s independent comedy circuit.
